About this site

This site is built on the Scratchpads framework that has come out of the EDIT project. It uses the Drupal CMS. Its initial development in 2009 was funded by GBIF and carried out by Kehan Harman and David Remsen. Maintainance of the GBIF Vocabularies software is coordinated from the GBIF Secretariat in Copenhagen. All the source code is released under the same licence as Drupal itself, namely the GNU General Public License, version 2. Source code can be browsed at https://git.scratchpads.eu/viewgit?p=gbif.git, or you can check it out using git (distributed version control system) using the command:
